Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde
Television Movie, 90 minutes.
This contemporary take on the classic mystery novella, 'Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde' published in 1886 by Scottish author Robert Louis Stevenson, tells an intriguing story about good and evil and the dual nature of man. Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde are played by the same actor in this production, and the transformation from the upstanding physician, Dr. Jekyll, to evil murderer, Mr. Hyde, is more internal than external, and is accomplished not with prosthetics and special-effects make-up, but with acting.
