All he wanted was the second chance he deserved. All he needed was someone to give it to him.

 A writer arrives to teach a creative writing class in a prison hoping to find a story for his next best seller. Instead, he finds a fluent ex Black Panther prisoner who has been behind bars for 20 years for accidentally shooting a man dead during a break in. In order to help the convict out of jail, the writer must first help the dead man’s sister set herself free from the metaphorical prison she's locked herself into.
